IMAGINE 2030
Imagine 2030 is a Pivot initiative to engage, discuss, connect, and problem-solve together.
Our goal is to:
Work with local community stakeholders who believe their communities have the potential to achieve greater things.
Achieve a 50% reduction/improvement in each of our impact areas by 2030. This includes poverty, energy democracy, housing, transportation costs, education outcomes - you get the idea.
We know it’s possible.
Pivot believes that there are a lot of good ideas, great organizations, and the success of all communities is possible. We believe that what’s been missing is an understanding of the “goal-post”, the vision, an understanding of what is trying to be achieved.
Our Imagine 2030 events bring together voices from the US and Southern Africa to better understand how systems work, identify the barriers preventing success, and work through developing a game plan for achieving that vision in local communities.

This summit aims to foster connections between community leaders, organization leaders, policy makers, funders, and more. The goal is to develop an inclusive shared understanding and action plan for what’s needed to achieve 2030 targets in the Greater Sacramento, California region.

Imagine 2030: If Everyone is So Impactful, Why do We Still Have So Many Challenges?
This summit proposes a new data-driven strategy for service providers and funders that identifies the root cause of community challenges, provides guidance for how organizations can work together, and coordinates implementation to solve some of our most pervasive issues once and for all.
